Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how the organising committee of the World Summit: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning Congress (CAUSummit) collects, uses, and protects personal data submitted through this website.

This text is a professional placeholder and should be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.

We collect the information you provide directly: name, academic title, email address, telephone number, institution, department, country, postal address, and the content of abstracts or manuscripts you upload.

We also collect limited technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used solely to keep the website secure and reliable.

Your data is used to process congress registrations, manage the peer-review of submitted abstracts and papers, issue invitation and confirmation letters, and send you announcements related to the congress.

Processing is based on the performance of your participation agreement, our legitimate interest in organising the congress, and, where applicable, your consent.

Personal data may be shared with scientific committee members for review purposes, with publishing partners where a paper is accepted for publication, and with service providers that host this website. We do not sell personal data.

Registration and submission records are retained for as long as necessary to document the congress edition and to meet accounting and archival obligations.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request data portability. Requests can be sent to causummit@causummit.org.

This website uses essential cookies required for its operation and, subject to your consent, additional cookies for analytics. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the consent banner.

If you accept, we use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service provided by Microsoft, to understand how visitors interact with the site (for example pages visited, scrolling, and clicks) through aggregated statistics, heatmaps, and session recordings. Clarity automatically masks text entered into forms, so personal details you type are not recorded. Data collected by Clarity is processed by Microsoft under its own privacy terms. Clarity only runs after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner; choosing “Reject” prevents it from loading entirely.
